We work hard on daily basis to make sure our products are well worth the value for money and that you would know exactly what you get. Or just how to be sure when buying online where everything can be seen through filters? Well that’s a little sneak peak in what we going to write about in today’s article.
Our aim is that if you place a real and an artificial plant next to each other then from two meter distance you couldn’t identify which one is which. Our goal is to produce only lifelike artificial plants and test them through the process. What are our principals and what is important for us to keep in mind when going after the natural looks?

The keys to produce natural looking artificial plants
Let’s start with something we already mentioned briefly which is tricking the client with amazing photos. It’s easily done because you can capture the photo from the angle the plant looks its best. To show that the artificial plant has more volume, the leaves and branches can be folded, bent or pushed all together to give the effect of fullness. That’s when you see the beautiful set up, get your hopes up and will be disappointed in real life. What do we do to avoid making our clients feel that way?
Well, we have provided noticeably big amount of our products with 360° images and there is no way to hide anything from your keen eye for details. With these images you can spin the plant around and see every side of it, plus get a particularly good impression on how it will look at your home, too. You can see all the leaves and branches and how they are actually placed. They are in their right position and not pushed together to provide the fake fluffy look. Try the effect of a 360° image out yourself on this beautiful artificial ficus (180 cm) below.
Another interesting thing is that about every product we sell you can see the amount of the leaves they carry. There’s a simple rule, the more leaves the better quality. Next detail to keep in mind is the shininess of the leaves. For lower quality artificial plants, it’s very common to see unnaturally glossy plastic leaves that just doesn’t look real. The leaves of our products are not painted with a fake looking glossy paint but the colour is already added in the fabric instead. The materials we use are also high quality. So, if you’d take the artificial leaf and felt it under your fingers, we don’t want them to feel crispy like the leaves that fall to the ground in the autumn.
What else? One interesting fact is that if you take a look at the branches of our products then the leaves on it can also differ in size. You can often see even five different sized leaves on one single branch! Plus, they can differ in colour to be even more precise according to the real plants. Like, when making the new and young leaves light green and the adult ones in darker shade of green.

For having leaves in different sizes, we are using different molds which makes the proccess more time efficient and expensive. But we still do it. Why is that important for us? Well, by being precise about every detail the plants develop in the nature, it is another way for us to make our products as indistinguishable from the real plants as possible.
So, the aspect for you to keep an eye on – lower quality products won’t have much variety in the leaf size, colour and trunks. Trunks? Yes, for lower quality products it is common to have just one shiny plastic trunk. We do not do that. Check out this beautiful fire retardant artificial raphis palm (160 cm) that we have provided with seven real wooden trunks. Doesn’t it just give the whole tree an exceptional look? Yes, we think so too!
We bring our own vision to the artificial plants
We respect the nature that surrounds us and notice little details that are common to each and every species. We are keen on bringing out the best features of each plant. Sometimes though, it even happens that the artificial plant is prettier than the ones you would see it in the nature. Would you like to know how? Well, let’s have this lovely artificial strelitzia (145 cm) here as our model.
What you see here is a recreation of a plant that in real life might not show that beautiful look to you. What we did was playing a little with its structure and foliage to give it more volume and value. So, we set the leaves on slightly different levels and therefore got to bring the flowers more under the spotlight. Talking about the flowers – it’s not the easiest task to get it flower in real life at all. People seem to like our vision because this beautiful strelitzia is one of our bestsellers.
To end the last paragraph, we would like to mention that there are lots of products that are made exactly after our designers’ vision. We have ideas that need to be brought to life and by that bring joy to our customers.
Now, if you are blinded by the wide range of cool products and are wondering what our customers are loving the most, then one keyword is the Urban Jungle look. With that you can bring lots of greenery around you using a wide range of different species. Also, green artificial hanging plants are popular and for example alocasia, fern, fig tree and grass plants are always a good idea.
